Mercure announced the opening of the Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort in Oroklini.
The hotel, which is located on the beachfront with a perfect view of the Mediterranean Sea, opened its doors on May 2nd.
The design of the hotel is inspired by the destination, following the Discover Local brand passion, and highlights the natural beauties of the island of Cyprus. The hotel design features relate to Aliki Salt Lake, Larnaka's the second largest salt lake in Cyrus, renowned as the meeting point of up to 12,000 flamingos every year.
The hotel lobby is home to an impressive graffiti mural depicting the Larnaca's Salt Lake landscape. The mural was painted by the talented local artist Paparazzi, who honoured the brand's commitment to sustainable action by using recyclable spray paint.
The Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort consists of 60 rooms (Standard, Deluxe, Superior, Executive Suite and Duplex Villas), spa, fitness centre, outdoor pools and private beach.
Surrounded by the enchanting sea views, guests will be able to enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine of the KYMA restaurant, with a curated selection of local products and specialties. Guests can enjoy drinks and cocktails in the hotels' three bars – the rooftop M Bar with stunning views overlooking the sea, the Lobby Bar, and the Beach Bar.
For the ultimate relaxation experience, guests can indulge in the experienced hands of the hotel's Aura spa team. The hotel features three treatment rooms and the spa menu is customized with local inspirations from the surrounding beach and mountains, with treatments using special oils mixed with crystalized sea salt and local minerals. Aura Spa offers the ultimate couples retreat package including full body couples' massage treatments, jacuzzi, sauna steam room treatments and environ facial treatments followed by champagne and fruit enjoyed whilst watching the sun set. The Aura Spa embraces its natural surroundings and offers top to toe spa experiences tied in with the natural surroundings, from the nearby mountains to the nearby cyherbia botanical gardens, local inspirations designs to drive ultimate relaxation and wellbeing.
While the hotel's spa is also open to the public, the fitness centre is for guests only. In addition, the hotel offers beauty and wellness services with the use of the latest technology equipment.
