With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, and the last four years as General Manager of Malliouhana, Vlachopoulos continues to bring unparalleled leadership expertise, exceptional guest service, and extensive knowledge of revenue management and hotel operations to the resort.

Originally from Athens, Greece, Vlachopoulos is a Swiss educated Hotelier with post graduate master's degree & associates' certificate from Cornell University. Having worked at some of the most renowned luxury resorts in the world, Vlachopoulos held numerous prestigious positions, including Director of Operations at the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Thailand, the Opening General Manager and Asset Developer of the famed Nihi Sumba Island Resort in Indonesia, and General Manager at the landmark Radisson Blu Park Hotel in Athens.
Under the direction of Vlachopoulos, Malliouhana has become perfectly positioned to build on its legacy of luxury within the global hospitality industry, best known for its modern interiors, world-class cuisine, and transformative experiences. Vlachopoulos possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience, and his leadership has been instrumental in Malliouhana's transition into an independent hotel, now managed by Storey Hotel Management Group. In his new role as Managing Director, Vlachopoulos will take on higher responsibilities in strategic leadership and development for Malliouhana. His visionary approach will guide the resort through the next phase of its evolution, including the celebration of Malliouhana's 40thanniversary, to be celebrated in 2024.
