RM Woodworth & Associates (RMWA), a hospitality research and consulting firm, today announced that Jeremy R. Gilston has been promoted to vice president. Gilston’s promotion recognizes his exceptional contributions, outstanding leadership and extensive expertise in the hospitality real estate industry. In his new role, he will assume a broader leadership role, overseeing key strategic initiatives and shaping RMWA's future.

A graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, Gilston started his career in hospitality advisory work at LW Hospitality Advisors based in New York City. He then moved to Washington, D.C. for an acquisitions and asset management role with Excel group. Gilston was an early contributor to Kalibri Labs, establishing their real estate and investments platform. Most recently before returning to advisory work with RMWA, Jeremy was a portfolio manager for Brookfield Asset Management’s 111-hotel extended stay platform, Brookwood Hotels, through its Blackstone acquisition.
In addition to his promotion, Gilston recently completed his master’s in real estate finance from Georgetown University, further enhancing his expertise and value to the company. This accomplishment has enhanced his knowledge and positions him at the forefront of industry trends and practices.
