Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announced today the opening of the 661-room Tempo by Hilton Times Square, the first hotel from Hilton’s newest lifestyle brand.
The 16-story, 306-room hotel is scheduled to open in spring 2024 adjacent to Nashville Yards in the heart of downtown. An official topping out ceremony was held late last week at the construction site of the new hotel.
Over the last decade, Slippoy has served as general manager of Westminster Hotel & Catering Hall in Livingston, New Jersey and opening general manager of Lex Hotel NYC, EVEN Hotel New York - Midtown East, an IHG Hotel, and most recently, Thompson Central Park New York.
Owned by L&L Holding Company and Fortress Investment Group, and managed by Hilton, the 661-room lifestyle hotel is located at TSX Broadway, the city’s new 46-story entertainment and hospitality destination that will also be home to TSX Entertainment.
The hotel is scheduled to break ground in March 2022 and open in spring 2024. HRI has entered into an agreement with Hilton to build a 16-story, 306-room focus-service lifestyle hotel adjacent to Nashville Yards in the heart of downtown Nashville.
