HEI Hotels & Resorts today announced the company has named Catlin Ptak general manager and Mina Gagraj director of sales of the 110-room Hyatt Place Albany in New York. The under-construction hotel is expected to open August 31, 2023.
Prior to joining HEI, Murphy was vice president of operations and head of the Sonesta Select brand for Sonesta Hotels where she was responsible for 224 company managed hotels that generated $750 million annually.
A long-time associate with the company, See joined HEI’s Manager-in-Training development program in 2009. He served several on-property revenue roles in hotels in Boston and Detroit before being swiftly promoted through HEI’s revenue management organization.
Burrell brings more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry to The Westin Snowmass Resort and Wildwood Snowmass. Having started his hospitality career at Walt Disney World in 1998, Burrell’s passion for guest service lead him to becoming a Westin Service Culture Trainer in 2008. He has held prior posts as General Manager in Beaver Creek, Portland, and Eagle Pass.
