Transaction Makes Marriott International the Largest Hotel Company in the Caribbean and Latin America
Marriott International, Inc. today announced that it has signed agreements with Vinpearl, Vietnam’s largest hospitality and leisure chain, for an additional seven hotels and resorts, comprising more than 2,500 rooms.
Be will highlight the vast opportunities within Marriott, from hotel operations and food and beverage to sales and marketing, systems engineering, and tech roles.
With a total of 727 guestrooms, the two Yabu Pushelberg-designed hotels include the first Moxy property in Los Angeles and feature 12 dining and entertainment
Marriott International, Inc., today announced plans to expand its portfolio in Greater China with the anticipated addition of 47 hotels in 2023, comprising more than 12,000 rooms, which would bring the company’s presence in the region to more than 500 properties and well over 150,000 rooms by this year’s end.

The anticipated openings will feature approximately 4,400 rooms across eight of the company’s brands – The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, Four Points by Sheraton, Aloft Hotels, and Courtyard by Marriott.

Upon closing, City Express will become Marriott's 31st brand and Marriott is expected to become the largest hotel company in the Caribbean and Latin America, increasing its presence in the region by approximately 45 percent to over 480 properties across 37 countries.
The multi-deal agreement includes Saudi Arabia’s first Autograph Collection Hotels property, as well as two Luxury Collection properties.
