Commonwealth Hotels announced Cristian Teusan and Nicole Coghlan have been appointed area directors of operations. Teusan and Coghlan will provide operational and sales leadership support to their respective regions.
Mr. Mendoza brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to his new role as General Manager having previously served as the Regional Director Operations for Radisson Hotel Group.
Commonwealth Hotels announced the hiring of Daniel Speulda as the new Dual General Manager of the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville. Speulda joins the organization after holding numerous management positions across the country, from Austin to the suburbs of Philadelphia.
He most recently served as general manager of the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows, a full-service property featuring 279 rooms.

The 30-year hospitality veteran is tasked with driving hotel revenues through innovative sales, revenue management and marketing strategies. He will lead his property sales teams in Commonwealth properties located throughout Ohio and Indiana.
