HEI Hotels & Resorts today announced the company has named Catlin Ptak general manager and Mina Gagraj director of sales of the 110-room Hyatt Place Albany in New York. The under-construction hotel is expected to open August 31, 2023.
Prior to joining HEI, Murphy was vice president of operations and head of the Sonesta Select brand for Sonesta Hotels where she was responsible for 224 company managed hotels that generated $750 million annually.
A long-time associate with the company, See joined HEI’s Manager-in-Training development program in 2009. He served several on-property revenue roles in hotels in Boston and Detroit before being swiftly promoted through HEI’s revenue management organization.
Investing more than $20 million in a comprehensive renovation and refresh, Wheelock and its operating partners will elevate the estate’s 394 exquisite guestrooms, as well as common areas of the resort, including the renowned spa, winery and golf clubhouse.
