Commonwealth Hotels announced the hiring of Daniel Speulda as the new Dual General Manager of the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville. Speulda joins the organization after holding numerous management positions across the country, from Austin to the suburbs of Philadelphia.
He most recently served as general manager of the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows, a full-service property featuring 279 rooms.

The 30-year hospitality veteran is tasked with driving hotel revenues through innovative sales, revenue management and marketing strategies. He will lead his property sales teams in Commonwealth properties located throughout Ohio and Indiana.
Todd previously worked as a Regional General Manager for the portfolio's local Cincinnati hotels: Best Western Plus Cincinnati Riverfront, Courtyard Cincinnati Airport, Hampton Inn Cincinnati Airport South, Residence Inn Cincinnati Airport and SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Midtown.
She has held general management position for the past 12 years with Marriott. Barbara is joining Commonwealth Hotels, after working with various hotel management companies and Marriott International.
In this role, Gabriel will be responsible for maximizing hotel revenues through creative sales, marketing and revenue management strategies. She will be providing sales and revenue support to hotel property leaders in the Midwest and Florida region.
