Waramaug Hospitality, a private investment group focused on acquiring legacy branded assets through the United States, announced today the appointment of Rae Salling as Senior Vice President Asset Management.
In her new role, Salling will maintain oversight of the operating performance of the company’s entire hotel portfolio, and be the principal liaison with the operating teams of Waramaug’s respective management companies. Salling brings to the company extensive experience in hotel operations.
Prior to joining Waramaug, Salling served as Vice President of Operations with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where she was responsible for the management of individual assets along with evaluating possible acquisitions for the management companies’ ownership groups. She also has previous experience as a senior executive for Winston Hospitality/Winston Hotels and Alliance Hospitality. Starting as a General Manager, Salling has worked her way up the operations side of the industry and understands all facets of running and operating a hotel to achieve peak performance.
