Freehold interest Mid City Motor Lodge has been sold by Australia-based HTL Property via an off-market campaign to a private investor. The property is located in Orange CBD, Australia, and features 45-rooms, along with a restaurant. The site is 4,147 square metres and has received approvals for the development of a 105-key hotel and associated facilities. The property is located approximately a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Sydney. Debut Of The First Hotel JAL City Outside Of Japan
Hotel JAL City Bangkok is set to open on 3 July 2023, and is the first Hotel JAL City branded hotel located outside of Japan. Australia-based KTQ Has Won Approval For Their Three Tower Kirra Hotel Plans
Australia-based KTQ has received approval from the Gold Coast City Council to construct three towers on the 8,973 square metres site of Kirra Hotel. The three towers will each comprise of seven, 13, and 16 storeys, and will feature apartments, a hotel, resort, health care and hospitality services. The recent approval comprised of amendments from their previously approved 2022 plans. Under the recently approved plans, there was the removal of building four, the introduction of indoor sport and recreation use, a change to designs, and an increase in the height of smaller buildings. Despite the approved amendments, 203 apartments and a 92-key hotel will be developed. Moreover, hotel guests would be offered exclusive use of the rooftop area. Currently, construction has already begun, and the development is expected to be completed by 2026.

In partnership with property developer Tuyet Lien Son Co Ltd, United Kingdom-based IHG Hotels & Resorts has debuted their first voco hotel in Vietnam. voco Ma Belle Danang is located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, in downtown Danang, and is in proximity to popular destinations such as My Khe Beach, Man Thai, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the Golden Bridge. The 283-key hotel features a rooftop pool, luxurious spa, 24-hour gym, 521 square metres of flexible meeting and social event space, and four restaurants and bars namely – Lyla, the all-day dining restaurant, the Lobby Lounge, and the Ciela Skybar and Dining. The 27-storey hotel was designed by Vietnam-based dwp and offers picturesque views of the coastline and cityscape.

The first Mondrian hotel in Greater China will be opening in Q3 2023, in Tsim Sha Tsui district in Hong Kong's Kowloon. The luxury lifestyle hotel will feature 324 guest rooms including 12 two bay suites. Guest rooms will offer beautiful panoramic views of the Victoria harbor and the city. In addition, guests can dine at Carna by Dario Cecchini, a contemporary steakhouse from Tuscany, Italy, on the 39th floor of the property.
