Cosimo Lardo joins Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North as Resort Manager, bringing extensive luxury hospitality experience spanning three continents to his new appointment. In Scottsdale, Lardo will lead the operations team at the property, drawing upon his lengthy career working with high-performing teams in the luxury space.
“Cosimo’s international experience in the luxury hospitality industry, and particularly his strong background in the food and beverage sector, will be a great asset to the Resort,” says General Manager Kelley Moreton. “We are excited to welcome Cosimo to our home in the Sonoran Desert and to the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale family.”
Lardo’s most recent appointment was leading the food and beverage operation for the past six years at Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya as Director of Food & Beverage. He helped establish the restaurants as leaders in the region, achieving key accolades in guest, employee and service satisfaction. This success played an important role in the property becoming the first Forbes Five Star rated hotel in Kuwait. He also lent oversight and support to the Milan property during their extensive renovations in 2021.
Prior to Kuwait, Lardo worked in the food and beverage management team at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Pennisula Papagayo. Earlier experience included time at the brand’s property in the Maldives and his first Four Seasons property, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, where he joined in 2010 as a bartender. This role further developed his love for food and beverage, and luxury hospitality. Raised in Italy, Lardo remembers always being passionate about all things culinary, particularly mixology. His early career began as a bartender before joining Four Seasons.
Lardo will reside in Scottsdale, with his wife Melissa, baby daughter Francesca, and cat Nisso.
He credits the move to Scottsdale, and opportunity to continue his career with Four Seasons in the United States, as a “dream come true.” In his leisure time, Lardo enjoys watching Formula One racing, and has had the chance to go in person in both the Middle East and Italy. In Scottsdale, he looks forward to exploring the Sonoran Desert and experiencing the fast-growing local culinary scene.
