HFTP made a return to form last week at its 2022 Annual Convention in Austin, Texas on Sept 14-16, 2022. Hosting 300+ attendees at the Hilton Austin, the event was a blend of critical education sessions, entertaining and inspiring keynotes, and a table top exhibition, all mixed with plenty of time for discussion and networking.
“HFTP is more than just learning. HFTP is a vibrant, welcoming community who support each other’s professional growth,” said Brett Connor, CHAE the director of finance for Nobu Hotel. “It’s a joy to attend and reconnect with my peers. I can’t wait until next year’s convention.”
The sessions covered club and hotel finance topics, plus general best practices valued by HFTP members. Highlight sessions included information on strategic asset management, ethical leadership, benchmarking, introducing club finances, employee retention, post-COVID fraud risks, financial reporting, legislative trends and more.
