Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has appointed Markus Lindner as General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental, Boston. Lindner joins Mandarin Oriental, Boston from Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, where he served as Hotel Manager.
A hospitality veteran with more than 20 years in the industry, Lindner has spent the majority of his career with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, having previously held management positions at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London and Mandarin Oriental, Paris.

Originally from Germany, Lindner graduated from the hospitality management program in Heidelberg and also received an executive MBA from RMIT University in Australia. He resides in Newton, Mass., with his wife and two daughters, ages six and eight.
