As travel reopens, ABTA’s new training course has been designed to provide practical and up to date digital marketing guidance for travel business of all sizes. The training will cover all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, paid advertising, social media, email marketing and online content strategies. The event will take place virtually on Tuesday 28 September.
ABTA is pleased to announce that the training will be led by ABTA Partners and experts in digital marketing, Adido. Event moderator and trainer, Andy Headington, has a vast digital marketing knowledge and is a regular contributor to ABTA events. He will be joined by digital marketing experts, Head of SEO, Tom Crewe and Head of Paid Media, David Berendt.
The one-day event will kick off with an update on current consumer online behaviour, how they interact with brands and how this has changed over the past eighteen months. Speakers will then delve into the fundamentals of organic and paid search including how they can work together as part of your marketing strategy. Attendees will hear about the best ways to track and measure campaigns and will take part in an interactive workshop on ensuring return on investment (ROI) no matter the budget.
Other sessions will cover important aspects of digital campaigns including social media strategies and content optimisation, top tips for video, email strategies and website development. An industry case study from ABTA Member G Adventures will highlight what a successful digital campaign should look like from conception to completion, including top tips and key areas to focus on. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion throughout the training.
